How it Works…

1. JOIN

• Create your account Click here

• Confirm your email address

2. RESERVE

• Log in to your account by clicking any ‘Log In’ button

• Browse the inventory and click reserve on what you want to borrow

• Select the dates that work for you. You can only book out and return on days we are open

• Go to your cart and ‘Submit Reservation’

3. BORROW

• Visit the Library of Things at any time during opening hours on your reservation date

• If it's your first visit, you'll have to provide proof of identity and of your address

• Take the Thing away with you and enjoy using it

• Some Things are heavy. We cannot guarantee being able to lift Things for you so please bring someone with you if necessary

4. Then...

• Bring the Thing back with all its parts on the day it's due back – clean and ready for the next borrower. Inform us as soon as you can if there will be a problem returning the Thing on time.

• Notice any damages? These things happen. If you can fix it easily and safely, then please do. If not, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing here.

• We require Things to be brought back when due. For every day late a Late Fee of £1 is charged per day per Thing.

• Make a donation by cash or card for using the Thing if you’d like to or donate here
